The Colorado Mountain Mushers are members of Mush with PRIDE. "PRIDE" stands for Providing Responsible Information on a Dog’s Environment. The relationship between sled dogs and humans is one of the oldest bonds of its kind. Modern sled dog owners are proud of their dogs as canine athletes that are bred and trained to do what they love: run as part of a team. Mush with PRIDE supports the responsible care and humane treatment of all dogs and is dedicated to enhancing the care and treatment of sled dogs in their traditional and modern uses. Gathering
in memory of Judy Rogers. Some CMM members attended a
life celebration of Judy Rogers held at the Columbine Ranch in
Jefferson, CO. It was a fine feast and western dress on a cool
day in the high country. Judy's ashes were scattered earlier in
the day at a location nearby.
CMM Bylaws were updated with some minor changes. A copy of the latest version can be found in the Bylaw section.

Spring Banquet. The banquet was held at Beau Jo's Pizza in
Idaho Springs
on Sunday May 16th. The voting ballots were tallied and the
year-end race points were presented. A *huge* Thanks to the

tally for last season. Aside from the race points, we also gave
awards for Humanitarian Award (Mark & Debra Su Stephens), Kennel
Care (Dave and TC), Mentor (Sandy Schwartz), and Achievement (Taylor
Berge). Nice job!
