* The 2007-2008 Race season has wrapped up.  All results are posted on the race schedule page.  With the end of race season comes the end of your annual membership.  Dues run May 1 - April 30.  Mail renewals to PO Box 476, Conifer, CO 80433.  More info can be found under the "Membership info" tab.

* CMM Annual Awards Banquet is scheduled for May 18th from 11:30am to 2pm at the Dillon Dam Brewery (CLICK HERE for directions).  Come to the Dam banquet to meet your newly elected Board Members, enjoy a casual lunch, see what awards you may have received, and learn what mushers look like when not cocooned in fleece and dog gear!  This is open to everyone and the cost is only $5 for current CMM members or $15 for non-members.  RSVP by May 1 to colomtnmushers@yahoo.com or call (303) 697-4486.  Please RSVP so that we can tell the Dam restaurant how many hungry mushers to expect.  Banquet menu highlight is pulled pork sandwiches, mmmmm, pork.  Cash bar available for those wanting to partake of the Dam beers.

* Campout/FunRun Summary - Several CMM members and some new faces joined in the fun March 29-30 in the Taylor Park area to explore the area.  Some stayed in the cabins while others explored the trails to Tin Cup and Mirror Lake for an overnight.  Three local Gunnison mushers joined in the fun and helped point out some wonderful trails.  There was plenty of snow, although it was apparent that spring was right around the corner.  Thanks to everyone who participated - it was a fun way to celebrate the end of the season.  Photos of the trip can be found through the "Event Pictures" tab.
